A World of Imagination
Hobbledown in Epsom is a family attraction designed specifically for younger children, combining outdoor adventure play with animal encounters in a beautifully themed setting. The park features a series of imaginative play zones including the Hobbledown Hollow village, an elaborate network of underground tunnels, and adventure trails through woodland. Children can meet meerkats, wallabies, goats, rabbits and many more animals in purpose-built enclosures.
Unlike larger theme parks, Hobbledown is designed to be manageable for families with toddlers and primary-age children. The scale is intimate, queues are short, and the emphasis is on imaginative, physical play rather than mechanical rides. A large indoor play barn provides a wet-weather option, and the Hobblegarden café serves freshly prepared food.
Visiting Hobbledown
The park is situated on Horton Lane in Epsom, close to the A24 and easily reached from Leatherhead and surrounding areas. Opening hours vary by season, with longer hours during school holidays. Pre-booking online is recommended as capacity is limited, and off-peak visits offer better value. Birthday party packages are popular and should be booked well in advance. The site is largely accessible for pushchairs, though some adventure trails have steps.
