A Country House with a World-Class Spa

Pennyhill Park’s origins date to 1588 as a Spanish Armada beacon point. The house was built in 1849 by James Hodges, the engineer behind Montreal’s Victoria Bridge. Expanded in the 1880s with an orangery and in 1903 with Bath stonework, formal gardens were added in 1935, inspired by Château de Villandry.

It became a hotel in 1972 and is now part of Exclusive Hotels & Venues. Also home to The Latymer, a Michelin-starred restaurant with 5 AA Rosettes, and the official training base for England Rugby.

The Spa

At 45,000 sq ft, it is among the UK’s largest hotel spas. The centrepiece is the ballroom pool with underwater music, surrounded by indoor and outdoor thermal experiences. Twenty-three treatment rooms use Natura Bissé products, including signature treatments with crushed diamonds and rose essence.

The 124-bedroom hotel sits within 120 acres of parkland offering jogging trails, tennis, cycling, and walks around the Lily Pond terrace.
