Centuries of Character
Cain Manor is a delightful 16th-century manor house tucked away in the quiet hamlet of Headley, on the Surrey–Hampshire border near Haslemere. The house retains its original oak beams, inglenook fireplaces and flagstone floors, creating an atmosphere of genuine historic warmth. The Music Room, with its vaulted ceiling and large windows overlooking the gardens, serves as the principal ceremony room and seats up to 120 guests.
The manor’s intimate scale is one of its greatest assets. Unlike larger, more impersonal venues, Cain Manor feels like celebrating in a private country home, with each room offering its own distinct character and charm.
Gardens & Celebrations
The gardens at Cain Manor are beautifully maintained and provide a variety of settings for photographs and outdoor celebrations. Mature trees, herbaceous borders, a pond and a walled garden create a sense of seclusion and tranquillity. In summer, outdoor ceremonies can be held on the lawns, framed by the manor house and surrounding countryside.
Cain Manor is managed by Bijou Wedding Venues, who provide a dedicated planning team and in-house catering. The venue operates on an exclusive-use basis, and the experienced team ensures every detail is taken care of. Guest accommodation is available in the manor’s converted cottages, with additional options in nearby Haslemere and Hindhead.
