Family Picking Fun
Crockford Bridge Farm sits on the outskirts of Addlestone, a short drive from Weybridge, and has built a loyal following among families looking for a day out that combines fresh air with fresh food. The farm’s pick-your-own fields open each summer with strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries and other soft fruits, while the autumn months bring a pumpkin patch that has become a seasonal institution in its own right. A maize maze offers additional entertainment for children during the school holidays, and the relaxed atmosphere means there is never any rush to leave.
The Farm Shop
The on-site farm shop is modest in size but well curated. Shelves are stocked with jams, chutneys, honey and baked goods, many produced locally, alongside seasonal fruit and vegetables from the farm. Eggs from the farm’s own hens are a perennial best-seller, and the shop also carries a selection of plants and flowers. Crockford Bridge doesn’t try to compete with the scale of Garsons or Secretts; instead it offers a quieter, more intimate experience that appeals to those who prefer their farm shops with a genuine farmyard feel.
